Time to brighten up this rainy Wednesday afternoon. I've struggled with lockdown 4.0. The motivation and positive mindset is pretty worn down so this koko happy thought stood out to me.

I decided instead of looking at all the downsides like missed festivals and markets I'd reset and focus on the positives. I spent the afternoon going on a rainy day walk with my nephew and sister (yes I live with them so its still my bubble 😉)

We had so much fun jumping in puddles and running under rain soaked trees getting extra wet and dirty. We hunted for rocks and drain waterfalls and it was awesome. Laughter really is the best medicine.

I hope you all have something to be happy about and that lockdown blues aren't kicking in too hard 🥰

Back to work after another lovely long weekend. This morning we've been making up a fresh batch of Bloom + Bliss Bath Soaks for our friends at @ambrosiafloraldesign.

These cute wee guys make a fab little self care treat. I don't have a bath here so I love to use them as a beautifully scented foot soak while I indulge in a face mask. It softens the blow of the back to work blues and it makes week day evenings feel like a luxury 🥰

How are you going to carve out some time for selfcare this weekend?

Are you going to take a walk in the sunshine? Read a book with a glass of wine? Perhaps a long relaxing soak in the tub.

The current climate adds an extra layer of stress to our lives that can slowly sneak up on us. Making time for selfcare can help balance out that tension and worry. Choose to take some time this weekend, even just ten minutes, for some selfcare.
